CLIENT TERMS OF SERVICE

SOUND PLUMBING CONSULTING LLC

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING

The information provided through Sound Plumbing Consulting LLC consultations may relate to potentially dangerous activities including, but not limited to, water systems, gas systems, pressurized systems, structural components, and electrical interactions. Improper implementation of any advice, instruction, or recommendation may result in property damage, financial loss, personal injury, serious bodily harm, or death.

Sound Plumbing Consulting LLC (the “Company”) provides consulting, advisory, and educational information only. The Company does not perform hands‑on work, physical installations, repairs, site visits, supervision, or direct on‑site instruction, and all services are remote and informational in nature.

1. CONSULTING SERVICES ONLY

2. NO LICENSED CONTRACTOR OR PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Sound Plumbing Consulting LLC is not acting as a licensed plumbing contractor, engineer of record, general contractor, inspector, or safety authority. No professional‑client relationship, contractor relationship, supervisory duty, fiduciary duty, or duty of care is created by use of these services.

3. HIGH‑RISK ACTIVITY ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Client acknowledges that plumbing‑related work inherently involves risks including but not limited to flooding, gas leaks, fire, explosion, water damage, mold growth, structural failure, electrical hazards, personal injury, and death, and understands these risks may arise even when instructions are followed.

Client voluntarily and knowingly assumes all risks associated with the use, misuse, interpretation, misunderstanding, or implementation of any information provided by the Company, and agrees that all actions taken are done at Client’s sole discretion and responsibility.

4. ASSUMPTION OF ALL RISK

All services are provided strictly on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Company does not guarantee code compliance, inspection approval, permit approval, project success, accuracy under all site conditions, or any specific outcomes.

5. NO GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY

Client is solely responsible for ensuring that any work performed complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, building codes, safety standards, and permitting requirements. Client is responsible for obtaining proper inspections and hiring licensed professionals where required.

6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Sound Plumbing Consulting LLC does not provide emergency services. If Client experiences active flooding, gas odors, fire hazards, structural instability, or other dangerous conditions, Client must immediately contact emergency services or a licensed professional.

7. NO EMERGENCY SERVICES

Services are billed at the rate disclosed prior to consultation. Billing is calculated per minute, all time is rounded up to the nearest full minute for billing purposes, and by providing payment information Client authorizes Sound Plumbing Consulting LLC to charge for time used according to this billing structure; failure to maintain valid payment authorization may result in immediate termination of the consultation.

8. BILLING AND PAYMENT TERMS

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sound Plumbing Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to property damage, financial loss, lost profits, bodily injury, or death arising out of or related to Client’s use of the information provided.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sound Plumbing Consulting LLC, its owners, officers, agents, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from Client’s actions, decisions, or implementation of advice provided.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

All disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the services provided shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration. Client waives the right to participate in class actions and waives the right to trial by jury.

11. ARBITRATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Client and Sound Plumbing Consulting LLC regarding the services provided and supersede any prior communications or agreements.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

By using the services, pressing acceptance on the IVR system, booking a consultation, or providing payment information, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.
